The bright young stars of open cluster NGC6611 hover above, and illuminate, the towering structures of dust and molecular hydrogen within Messier 16, more commonly known as the Eagle, or Star Queen Nebula. 
Canon M200, UV/IR cut, 7” F/4.5 Newtonian, 1.1x coma corrector, homemade equatorial mount with RA drive. ~180x 30 seconds @ iso800

Space isn’t always metal.

A pair of #SBB🇨🇭 Cargo class 421 electrics is seen here working a southbound freight through #Rüdesheim 🇩🇪 on the right bank of the #Rhine river. These locos were originally built as class Re4/4II, mainly for hauling domestic passenger trains in Switzerland.
